"Teen Choice Award"-winner Beau Mirchoff isn't the only "Awkward" cast member with reason to celebrate this week--MTV's popular high school comedy WILL BE BACK for a third season, our network announced today. So whether Jenna sees out her sophomore year with Matty or Jake, we know it certainly won't be the story's last chapter, and there is plenty of cringe-worthy discomfort to come.
The third season pick-up also marks a huge bulk-up for the series, which will see 20 episodes--almost twice that of prior seasons. With nearly two million viewers each week, "Awkward" is among the highest-rated Thursday night programs, and thanks to its superfans, it looks like there's no change on the horizon. As if you'd allow Sadie Saxton's hateful rants to fall to the wayside so easily...
+ Keep up with Remote Control for the latest in what's to come, and make sure to tune in tomorrow night for an all-new episode, in which Jenna and Tamara struggle to keep it together on Valentine's Day.
Brett Davern's pumped to give "Awkward" the trifecta treatment.
Desi Lydic gives the deuces and then some in celebration of "Awkward" Season 3.
