As if discovering his girlfriend used to date his best friend wasn't bad enough, Jake Rosati proceeded to stumble upon Jenna making out with (his now ex-bud) Matty on the most recent "Awkward" episode. Jake had swung by the Hamilton household to try to make amends with Jenna after getting her "I love you" voicemail, but found her swapping spit with her former fling, and now, she's gotta pay the price (in case she wasn't already in deep enough).
Jenna, Tamara and Ming are thrust into disaster relief efforts after analyzing a text from Jake that reads "Cheater" in the below sneak peek of Thursday's new episode. "Holy sh**!" is all J's two friends can muster up, and in spite of their efforts to put a positive spin on things, the debacle continues to remain un-spun. It's not until Jenna's life seems completely hopeless that T reveals a tidbit of important info: Jake had come back to the wedding after leaving J-Town out in the cold, possibly looking to apologize. Deduction: If Jenna had been there, maybe they would still be together. Nothing like a little food for thought!
