Vital stats: The 31-year-old grew up in Ireland and later spent some time in France. In addition to acting, he is also in a band, The Enemies. They have played festivals like South by Southwest and had their music featured in campaigns for General Motors, Coca Cola and Direct TV.
Where you might have already seen him: His resume is full of both TV and movie roles including parts in "The Tudors" and "The Rite."
Why you should take notice of him now: Well, as season two of the hit ABC show, "Once Upon A Time," is readying for its second episode this Sunday, Storybrooke, Maine, is still reeling from the fact that magic has returned and everyone is their rightful fairytale selves. Soon enough fans will be treated to the eye-liner hotness that is Captain Hook. And, if you think it's lonely on the high seas for the pirate, the great minds behind the show say that won't be the case at all.
"All we can reveal is that he will tie in rather quickly, in this first batch of episodes," creator Adam Horowitz teased, with co-creator, Edward Kitsis adding, "He has interesting relationships with a few of our characters."
