Is It Possible For A Two-Person Team To Win 'Battle Of The Seasons?'
Oct 18th 2012, 03:00

Down went Wes and Lacey, then Danny and Melinda and suddenly, Austin was no longer. Similarly, once Cara Maria and Brandon got the "Battle Of The Seasons" boot, it was only a matter of time before teammates Eric and Camila were eliminated and Fresh Meat was but a "Challenge" memory. Historically in this game, if a team loses one elimination round, its next defeat is around the corner--so we have to ask: Is it at all possible for a team to be down but not out? Can a two-person unit buck up and win?

Now that New Orleans has been halved, and ex-couple Jemmye and Knight are the only two reppin' NOLA, there's bound to be a rocky road ahead. Put aside the fact that Jemmye essentially said she'd sooner date a leper than reconnect with her former boyfriend, it'd be mighty easy to pick off the team that's bruised and broken. More detrimentally, missions seem to be tailor-made for bigger teams. Big Easy and Camila might have been able to hang tough in "Don't Weigh Me Down" if they had extra bodies to keep up with the rest of the pack, but Eric could only rely on his own arms and legs to get the job done. Do we have a death sentence on our hands?

+ What do you think--can Knight and Jemmye survive the game and break the one-two curse, or are they destined to take the route of the rest of the ousted cast?
