5 'Teen Wolf' Mysteries We Need The Season 2 Finale To Solve
Aug 13th 2012, 18:25

"Teen Wolf" fans are counting down the seconds until tonight's Season 2 finale, and with good reason. In 11 episodes, the show's writers managed to introduce a completely new supernatural species, transform innocent Allison into a cold-blood killer and somehow convince us that we knew what the hell was going on. Suffice to say, we didn't. Ever.

With so many loose ends left to tie up, it's nearly impossible to conceive of one single episode providing total clarity, but there are some things we absolutely NEED answered by 11 p.m. Take a look at our list, and be sure to check in with MTV News for the cast's thoughts on the finale, as well as what they're hoping Season 3 will bring.

Where the hell is Stiles? After becoming the unexpected hero of the Beacon Hills lacrosse team in the season's championship game, Stiles went missing. Sheriff Stilinski noticed his son was gone while the better part of the crowd was preoccupied with Jackson's sudden collapse, and the air was unusually devoid of biting wryness. Did Stiles leave by his own choice, and, if he didn't, who took him?

Is Jackson...uh...dead? While Stiles was getting busy putting holes into the back of his opponent goalkeeper's net, Jackson had evidently done the same to himself. Whether the result of his own volition or that of Gerard's command, Jackson sunk his Kanima claws into himself and appeared to be dead. But is he for sure, and is Peter Hale right that there could possibly be a way to save him?

Speaking of Peter Hale, what exactly does he want? The formerly dead Alpha Wolf used Lydia as a means to resurrect himself, but since his return to the living and breathing, it hasn't been completely clear what exactly he cheated death for. He's always got something up his sleeve, though, and we know there must be a plan in the works, but what is it, and is he a true ally to Derek?

Why does Gerard keep taking those pills? To try to analyze Gerard's erratic behavior would be a fool's endeavor, but we've found it especially odd that a little pill tin has been on his person nearly every time we've seen him. As the capsules seem to have a bit more bearing than a pharmacist-recommended multivitamin, we have to wonder what they're doing for him.

What is this key that Executive Producer Jeff Davis tweeted would be an important part of the finale?
