Selena Gomez And Her 'Spring Breakers' Get Cleaned Up For The Venice Film Festival
Sep 5th 2012, 14:03

Every day a multitude of stars wander through the halls of MTV News to talk about their latest projects and goof around with staff members. But sometimes we catch stars elsewhere, and that's why we put together Spotted!, a daily compendium of stars in the wild.

For a bunch of girls who we last saw looking strung-out in a blue-lit jail cell, the cast of "Spring Breakers" certainly cleans up well.

Vanessa Hudgens, Selena Gomez, Rachel Korine and Ashley Benson were looking sophisticated and poised when they showed up for the flick's photocall at the Venice Film Festival, posing chummily together in their pretty dresses. (Selena, particularly, was killing it in a long-sleeved Dolce & Gabbana dress with a black-and-gold art nouveau running from neck to hem.)

The stars were gathered in Venice for an early peek at their movie, which doesn't hit American soil until its theatrical release next year. But even though they must be on tenterhooks with the wait for "Spring Breakers" to be seen by a wider audience, everyone looked relaxed and happy on the red carpet—from the girls in their glamorous getups to their co-star James Franco, who is not pictured, not least because he was so laid-back about the whole thing that he showed up sporting bedhead and an un-ironed shirt. (Which, admittedly, was still an improvement on his look from the movie.)
