At some point in our lives, many of us feel compelled to get in touch with our roots. Some sort through the family tree with elderly relatives, others tear through old documents at the library, but the "Jersey Shore" cast went straight to (most of) their gene pools during Season 4 of the show and set up shop in Florence, Italy. As could be expected, though, it wasn't quite the run-of-the-mill European excursion, and as the cast adjusted to life in another country (NO GTL?!), there were some bumps in the road...literally. Just ask Deena and Snooki, who routinely toppled over them.
Across trips to Riccione and the site of Vinny's ancestors, and from meeting a pair of American scholars (twinning!) to more intimate affairs between cast mates (the infamous meatball mashup), the eight, much paler guidos and guidettes definitely made their mark on The Boot by the time they boarded their return flight and jumped right back into Season 5 in Seaside Heights.
