From "Teen Mom" to "Top Chef?" Gary Shirley often takes to Twitter to show off the results of his green thumb and mad skills in the kitchen, posting everything from pics of watermelon from his organic garden to his homemade pumpkin walnut bread. He even gets daughter Leah in on the action. Now, the fruits of his labor have paid off in the form of a new career, which he revealed via--what else?--a tweet. "...I'm a phenomenal cook and I'm about to start catering. Got my first client. Yay," Gary wrote last week. On the carnivore's menu: pulled pork. "Yes it retains water yes turkey is better 4 u but pulled pork shoulder is amazing w my special dry rub," he tweeted, along with shots of the mouth-watering dish.
Thankfully, Gary updated his followers throughout every step of the recipe. "This thing is still cooking," the young father shared with his fans. So how did the final entree turn out? Delicious, if he does say so himself! "It's done and it's flavorful and no it's not burnt just spices," the gastronome reported after gobbling up his creation. So where's our taste test, G?
