MTV is releasing new details about the Jersey Shore Season 5 premiere. The network now confirms the fifth season of the hit reality show will start in January 2012. "A new season of Jersey Shore, with the cast back in Seaside Heights, NJ, will premiere in January 2012 on MTV," a statement by the network reads.
MTV did not give an exact premiere date for when Jersey Shore Season 5 will start. However, the third season of the reality show premiered on January 6. If the network follows the same schedule it is possible Jersey Shore Season 5 will premiere the first Thursday in January - Thursday, January 5. Previous reports indicated Jersey Shore Season 5 would premiere in Feburary 2012.
