Jersey Shore's DJ Pauly D Confirms Deal with G-Unit Records!
DJ Pauly D has been steaming it up all summer long. Serving as the opening act for Britney Spears' Femme Fatale Tour, the famed celebreality DJ is reported to have inked a deal with G-Unit Records.
In an interview with XXL, he says the deal should be finalized very soon, “I would say by the end of year,” he commented.
When asked how he was able to link up with such a well known hip-hop heavyweight, the disc-jockey had this to say:
“50 cent has also been somebody I look up to. We ended up linking up and we just clicked. We hit it off immediately with the music and everything like that. So, I’m definitely gonna be working with him. There’s been talks about the album and the headphones. I’m looking forward to working with that as well.”
The huge deal will include not only a three-disc album deal, but the newest member of the Guerilla Unit will also design a line of headphone gear. (Move over Dr. Dre) One-sixth of MTV’s cult-hit Jersey Shore, Pauly D is also expected to star in his own spin off, which will chronicle his life as a dj. –Tyler McDermott
