If there was ever any doubt as to how popular DJ Pauly D is it was put to rest last night.
The Jersey Shore star, who is also signed to G-Note Records was mobbed by hundreds of fans at a gig in South Padre Island, Texas and extra security had to be called in according to TMZ.
Pauly was DJ-ing on a stage that was supposed to have three feet of room separating it from the crowd. But fans at Louie’s Backyard didn't let that happen as you can see in the pic below. Some fans even tried to climb on the stage.
Things got so hectic that when it was time for Pauly to leave he had to be escorted out by 15 members of security and cops, and even then his shirt was ripped by fans.
Luckily he made it out of there safely.
