"Glee" returned from its summer vacation last night with the episode "The New Rachel," and while we were pleased to meet several new students, including Marley (Melissa Benoist) and Jake (Jacob Arist), we couldn't help but pine for a few former New Directioners, who were singing and dancing elsewhere. Especially sassy Santana, whose signature slams were sorely missed.
But actress Naya Rivera was anything but missing in action—she watched last night's premiere and took to Twitter today to share her favorite moment from the episode.
By the way, my favorite part of Glee last night was @darrencriss performance with the cups! I'm OBSESSED with it! Soo cool!

We can't argue with Naya; Darren's rendition of Imagine Dragon's "It's Time" (which we first heard during "The Perks of Being a Wallflower" trailer), was definitely a high point of the episode. If anyone deserves "The New Rachel" title, it most certainly is the cutie-pie crooner!
