Poor, poor Jenna Hamilton. She's been dragged through the wringer more than most, but last week on "Awkward," she swallowed the most bitter pill life has force-fed her yet: She caught her parents in the act. And suddenly, there was one thing that could stand in the way of a student's fake sick day. We thought there was no such trump card. Alas...
After deciding that the ol' thermometer-in-hot-water routine would keep her out of school and, thus, from having to deal with her blog's leak, Jenna made her way into her parents' room to fake-cough her way out of class. Unfortunately, once she passed through the doorway, she found her mother's underwear scattered across the floor, heard the sound of giggling and realized she was entering some disturbing territory. Suddenly, a towel-clad Lacey came into view, followed by a similarly semi-naked Kevin, and not only was Jenna officially sentenced to years of therapy, but she was forced to consider her parents might actually be getting back together. A mini-drama before first period? They really move quickly in Palos Hills...
