We first met Veronica Portillo in 1999 when the eventual "Challenge" vet was known best as the "Road Rules: Semester At Sea" teammate once accused of plagiarizing a fellow cast member's essay. Her flare for controversy continued through her MTV tenure, but she's certainly come a long way, and when V announced she was expecting a baby earlier this week, "Road Rules" and "Challenge" fans couldn't believe their favorite former mean girl would soon be a parent.
As soon as Veronica's photo of her sonogram was published to social media, y'all went wild with congratulatory sentiments (Veronica herself even tweeted us this very Veronica message: "@MTVShowBlog Really? That's the best pic you could find of me in the 10+ years of worth of archives you can go through?"), but you also lamented the fact that "The Ruins" might have been her last hurrah.
