Perhaps collegiate standout Sophia should have chosen her commencement speech's words more carefully. Say, to something like: "We mayyybe can change the world but will likelier serve pastries and subsist on quarters from a doughnut shop's tip jar." Or, you know, whatever.
In this sneak peek of Tuesday's "Underemployed" premiere, we meet five friends on their long-awaited college graduation day, and, soon after, re-meet them exactly one year later. It's safe to say by the time Miles starts stripping for an elderly woman in her workplace's cubicle that things didn't pan out exactly as planned. Daphne's eating dog food at an unpaid internship, Lou's environmental efforts only earn him "lesbian!" jeers from a mouthy kid, and Raviva? Well, we'll let you see what happens with her for yourself.
