Robert Pattinson Has Post-'Twilight' Music Plans
Aug 17th 2012, 14:30

There's no shortage of ways for adoring fans of Robert Pattinson to get their fix of their favorite actor; depending on your level of obsession, the Pattz can be had on your TV, on your wall, or even—thanks to a product that never ceases to disturb us—on your bed. But now that he's nearing the end of his involvement with the ever-demanding "Twilight Saga," he may turn up on your iPod, too! In last night's MTV First interview, Rob replied to a Twitter question about his musical career with cautious enthusiasm, admitting, "I've been writing a lot of stuff recently."

And while there doesn't seem to be any question that he'll keep on acting, too, the star says that he's looking forward to writing and recording music again once the high-visibility job of promoting "Breaking Dawn" comes to an end.
"That's one of the things—with 'Twilight' coming to a close, I feel a bit more comfortable doing that," he said. "I really miss it, so I think I might do some stuff."

Of course, performing said music would be a rather different experience now that Rob is a massive celebrity—which isn't lost on him either.

"I really like the idea of it," he said, but confessed that he's not so comfortable yet with the idea of having a huge fan following for his work. "It's strange, if there's expectations. Whenever I played music [before], it was a bunch of people who just did not care. That's what I was used to. And I was kind of pining for that."

Yes. Well. Pine all you want, sir, but the days of people not caring about Robert Pattinson are long gone, never to return. But even so, we don't think he has to worry about "expectations"; with so many fans anxiously awaiting any chance to see him in action, he could play a kazoo, badly, and everyone would still think it was marvelous.

Would you like to see Rob get back into making music? Sound off in the comments and on Twitter!
