'Glee' Star Jacob Artist Promises 'Insane' Dancing In 'Britney 2.0' Episode
Sep 19th 2012, 20:22

Who's ready for another Britney Spears tribute episode of "Glee?" We are, as long as the reason they're singing and dancing to Britney doesn't involve being high on anesthesia. Anyway! The "Britney 2.0" episode drops tomorrow night, and lucky for us, cute newbie Jacob Artist recently swung by our offices to give us a tantalizing preview.

"'Britney 2.0' it's definitely everything you got the first time around but I think on a little bit bigger scale," Jacob said. "There's some awesome dance numbers and some stripped down acoustic numbers. It's a really great episode."

So where do we find the possible-bad-boy Puckerman in this episode?

"I have a really awesome duet coming up with Melissa Benoist, who plays Marley. She's one of newbies as well. Hopefully people enjoy that one a lot. It's beautiful," he said, adding that we'll have to wait a while before we see his dancing skills. "I am not dancing in the Britney [episode], but Heather Morris is and she is unbelievable. She gets better and better. It's insane."

When asked to pick a favorite number to tease, Jacob said to be on the lookout for the "Glee"-ized version of "Womanizer."

"There's this really cool version of 'Womanizer' that they do, which takes place all throughout the school, and I'm kind of the boy they're talking about in it," he said with a laugh. "But they're on the stairwell, they're in the gym, they're on balance beams and doing all this crazy stuff so I think that's a fun number."
